Ebola: Governor Fashola visits First Consultants Hospital


Lagos state Governor, Babatunde Fashola, today Sept 19, visited First Consultants Hospital, Obalende where the index case of Ebola Virus Disease, Mr. Patrick Sawyer was received and attended to on Sunday, July 20. The hospital was certified ready for operation today in the aftermath of the decontaminations exercise carried out after it was shut down because of the virus.

Governor Fashola told newsmen that his visit to the hospital was in order to identify with the staff as a way forward adding that now that the Ebola Virus Disease has been dealt with professionally, the way forward was to get on with life.
