There were earlier reports that boko haram leader who has been mimicking late Abubakar Shekau may have finally been killed. In a rare show of bravado, Cameroon army few days ago released the picture of Shekau lying lifeless with bullet wounds. A Cameroon military source says that Abubakar Shekau was killed following an aerial bombardment of his hideout inside Nigeria.
The Cameroon army has since yesterday been in serious combat against thousands of Boko Haram fighters trying to enter Cameroon via Fotokol from Gambaral Ngala in Nigeria. See more pics of our men in action after cut...
