What’s this cold war between coach Keshi & Ikechukwu Uche?

Super Eagles coach Stephen Keshi yesterday Sept 4, told Punch that  Villarreal CF striker Ikechukwu Uche will not be playing in the qualifier against DR Congo coming up  tomorrow Sept 6. Keshi says although Uche was invited for the match the Super Eagles striker says he will only accede if he is begged. When asked why Ikechukwu Uche not invited for this match Keshi says:

“Well, his name was originally on the list. But he said he needed somebody to plead with him before he can come and play for his country. And I have told him I cannot do that. I therefore had to replace him with somebody else.”

However Uche took to twitter to deny the allegations. He says he is available if/when considered for selection. I don't know the genesis of the beef. See tweets after cut...
