Singing duo MamuZEE TwiNs and all Nigerian twins has vowed to boycott the 2015 election until all twins and multiple births are recognized in the country. The decision they said stemmed from their recent experience at the INEC office Zone Z in Abuja.
On August 17, both twins headed to the INEC office to submit their temporary voter’s card so they could pick up the permanent ones. One of the twin Dixon his own card was held back probably because the corps members issuing the voters felt the two voters' card belongs to the same person . The twins claim many twins’ votes are not counted because of similar problems hence their decision to boycott election.
